I wanted to ask what the difference is between this game and Crimson Waves on the Emerald Sea: Amaranthine Moon?
Are the two the same, except that there’s an old version and a new version? Are they the same, or do the two games have completely different storylines and ML ?
sorry if u don't understand my question, English isn't my first language
I'll be honest, I'm usually quite picky with playing visual novels and usually quit midway through if the plot line is dull, I personally thought this would be similar in that aspect nonetheless I was curious by the name and played it blind without reading anything and I must say, as someone who has played over dozens of visual novels, I think this is definitely one of my favorites. Firstly, I like the atmospheric vibe of the story, it all feels lively and comfortable to play. The art is appealing and especially nice to look at. I like how despite having a set storyline and no options that the player can make, the characters still come off as entertaining. Cecil, despite being a young, naive and awfully blunt child still wants to be a gentleman to the people around him. The rash and impulsive decisions he makes could be rather reckless but at the same time, makes a lot of sense considering his young age. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and I definitely recommend, I only wish we had more context on Nemo and Ambrose's relationship(especially because Ambrose is my favorite) and we could see more intimate moments between the two of them lolol
Thank you so much for playing, glad you enjoyed the game! We're actually working on a sequel to it right now, which focuses on Lucie and the cure to vampirism set a few years after this first game. You can find the demo for it on our itch.io page.
This was a great experience! It's a solidly written mystery with very fun character interactions, I particularly liked how Cecil is always trying to be a proper gentleman despite being just a little boy with a very sheltered upbringing. It was insanely cute <3 The art is lovely too, with the unique UI details for the two POV characters being a very charming touch, and everything fits wonderfully into the Victorian aesthetic.
Loved it! Beautiful artwork and animations to go with such a cute story. The characters are wonderful, too (though sometimes I want to strangle Cecil for how dense he is). The part with Teddy certainly got me and Leroy is quite adorable. I've got a lot of questions from the ending, so I'm curious to see if you're planning to continue it? If not, that's alright as well - it certain stands on its own feet. Thanks for making this! :)
I enjoyed this visual novel a lot, the music, the art, the story and the setting were engaging. I can see myself coming back to this like an old favorite book. Can't wait to see more from you.

This is the first game. According to the developer's description, Amaranthine Moon is a standalone game that takes place 5 years in the future.

Enjoyable read so far, even though some things rather predictable. Art is very pretty. I read until chapter 20, save it for tomorrow
