hits too close to home. was sobbing in the nice ending. i dont have it in me to see other alternative routes. when i see cyrus+aster i saw me, i have so much to say, but at least he got to run away. i think if the current time was like back then, i wouldve run far far away too...
even then, at least we're out of the family i was born in, but still, the people that have been involved.. just like the first time they knew 'miracle'.. they would wanna try to recreate it again. experiencing that 'miracle' once more.. "we're not like them, we'll be better." you've also thought that about them.
sorry.. i usually just went in blind to everything that i read, ready to accept everything that comes my way because im just here to read yknow,,
but omg, i didnt expect one that were talking about cults specifically.. i knew what i went through, i read and delved into these more than i knew anyone in my cult in a deep, emotionally and super close kinda way. im wordless.
but specifically, thank you author.. not specifically about the relatability.. but like you know? i can understand with the characters, it made me cry at the end, im so wear down. one day i want to reached a point where i knew no one and start anew. thank you! ๐
Well this was a little slice of delight to come across! I ended up playing through it a couple chapters at a time because of having to make time for other stuff, but in all the downtime in between I was thinking about this a whole lot - the characters, the story, the whole underlying theme, the works - and anything that lives rent-free in your head like that obviously left an impact!
Really enjoyed the story, and the dynamics between the characters were great - nothing felt forced or contrived, everything was set out in a way that made their perspectives understandable even if I disagreed with them, and their relationships as a whole genuinely felt like there was a shared history between them. Aster revealing Cyrus' thoughts at the end was heartbreaking, and put such a solid and satisfying twist into the narrative.
this was such a wonderful game, i was really taken by the world and the characters' perspectives, the relationships between all of them, and i really enjoyed playing from hazel's pov! <3333
i couldn't figure out a way to get alternate ending, sadly, and i was wondering if there were any tips for that :,0 other than that though, this was one of my favorite vns <3 thank you for such a great experience!
thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed it!! the current two endings are pretty similar, basically depending on if you take Aster's side in situations or not. I'd like to add more endings to it when I get the chance.
I was immediately pulled into the world and kept wanting to know what would happen next. The art, writing, and storytelling are all *chef's kiss*. And I loved the premise of the game! It was a unique concept to explore Aster's feelings toward Cyrus, his past, and his relationships with the other characters. I think you executed it all really well. ๐
The only thing I would've liked to see would be a feel-good epilogue scene after a bit of a time skip because the ending felt a bit abrupt. But other than that, it was an excellent story and I enjoyed it a lot. ๐
